The company developed
an atmospheric aerosol study system for the Romania-based Optoelectronics
Research and Development Institute (INOE). The system will measure the optical
and microphysical properties of aerosols from near the ground to the lower
stratosphere. The system is the central instrument of the new MARS (Măgurele
center for Atmosphere and Radiation Studies) research station, designed to be
the most modern such station in Eastern Europe. A-lidar is a reference system
for the European ACTRIS Research Infrastructure (Aerosol, Cloud, and Tracegas
Research InfraStrcture). At the same time, the system will be used to identify
future European Space Missions (ESA) and the US (NASA). The A-lidar system will
be the most advanced lidar system in Eastern Europe.
